WO WE ARE…
The nature park Hoher Fläming is located about 80 km southwest of Berlin and Potsdam,
Brandenburg (Germany). Its uniqueness as well as easy accessibility turn the park into a cherished
destination among hikers. One of its highlights is the Internationaler Kunstwanderweg (German for
‘International Art Walking Trail’). The 40-km long circular trail hosts 28 art works offering all hikers
an extraordinary way of experiencing nature and culture.

WHAT WE PLAN…
Currently we are working on enhancing the artworks already installed along the leg of the trail
between Klein Glien and Wiesenburg with digital 3D content. Additionally, five brand-new, sitespecific
artworks in augmented reality should be designed to be added to that leg of the trail.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR…
– Is augmented reality your artistic field your medium of choice?
– Would you be up to design a brand-new AR artwork for our International Art Walking Trail?
– Could you hand your artwork over to us as a finished FBX file?
– You are not required to speak German but you should definitely be fluent in English.

WHAT WE OFFER…
– 4-week artist residency starting from August 1st, 2022, in an hotel-like establishment with single
room and full board,
– spacious coworking facilities at the workation retreat ‘Coconat’ (www.coconat-space.com),
– professional infrastructure and technology (such as a 3D scanner) on location,
– peer-coaching formats to help you develop the concept of your artwork,
– 7,000 Euro grant + travel expenses for arrival and departure.

During the culture festival and creative camp ‘Fläminger Kreativsause’ (August 8th – 14th,2022;
flaeminger.kreativsause.de) you will get to know the local cultural and art scene and gain an insight
into the history, politics and nature of the region.

Please, send via the digital form
– your CV,
– 2 to 3 samples of your work,

– a short overview of the subjects you tackle in your art,

Deadline is June 19th, 2022. An internal jury will select the winners.
We will reply to all applications by July 10th, 2022.
